DAY 1: GUWAHATI- SHILLONG
(100 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)
You will be picked up at the airport/railway station and then drive to Shillong, the capital of the state of Meghalaya and home to the Khasi tribe. Shillong has rightly earned the sobriquet of "Scotland of the East" owing to the rolling hills, beautiful scenery, and climate. On the way you will visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, a major tourist attraction located just before entering Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

DAY 2: SHILLONG- CHEERAPUNJEE
(55 Kms/ 2-3 Kms)
In the morning you will visit Shillong peak and get a bird's eye view of the entire city of Shillong and then go to Elephanta falls. Then drive to Cherrapunjee, the erstwhile rainiest place in the world. On the way, experience the beautiful rolling hills, the flora and the waterfalls, most importantly the Nohkalikai, Wah-kaba waterfall and Seven Sisters Falls, a seven segmented waterfall which falls from a height of over a 1000 ft, you can also some of the caves like Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave and night stay at Cherrapunjee. (Shillong Peak is temporarily closed, if it opens by at your arrival than you visit)

DAY 3: CHERRAPUNJEE LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today morning after breakfast, you will go for the sightseeing of Thangkharang & ECO Park. Also, you will go for the visit of Wei Sawdong Falls a three step picturesque falls located at Cherapunjee. One should be physically fit to trek down to the waterfall as there are no proper stairs and it’s a steep 70-90-degree difficult trek. The local people have made the stairs and path using branches of trees after this day long activity overnight stay at Cherapunjee.

DAY 4: CHEERAPUNJEE - DAWKI– MAWLYNONG- SHILLONG
Drive from Cheerapunjee to Dawki with pictures of crystal-clear waters popular in the social media. Here you can enjoy boating then drive to Mawlynnong, a picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border. Declared as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has alternatively been known as 'God's own garden' too. Go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You can visit Balancing Rock, Bangladesh View point and the longest Living Root Bridge. Then drive to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

DAY 5: SHILLONG -GUWAHATI
Early morning after breakfast process to Guwahati and visit Umananda Temple which is located at the smallest river island of Asia then go for a visit to Maa Kamakhya Temple one of the famous shakti peethas located at the top of Nilachal Hills from where you can have an eagle eye view of the whole city. DAY 6: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE
Early morning after breakfast if time permits you can go for local market visit, then drive to Guwahati airport/Railway station for your onward journey home.
